This was a fun family shoot that we did in October before baby Jack arrived. Baby Olivia is a beautiful, happy girl and her furry sister Indiana has quite the personality. We had a very enjoyable afternoon with this sweet little girl…she is one of the most easy going babies we have worked with. She modeled a variety of flowered headbands and cute outfits without a peep, showed off her parent’s alma mater with a hat and a blanket and fell asleep just in time to pose sweetly on her great grandmother’s fur stole.

Big brother Dylan welcomed his new little brother Hudson last summer and I drove up to LA to photograph the family when Hudson was just a newbie. Hudson was already looking like his brother at just a few weeks old. Dylan was such a proud big brother and such an active guy….the last time I photographed him he was just starting to walk and this trip he didn’t stop moving. It was a truly enjoyable afternoon capturing this family’s new addition.

Ava was born in September of 2011, a little Italian beauty with dark eyes and pouty lips. Her mother and father are high school friends of mine, and it gives me so much happiness to continue to shoot their family as they grow. Jake is such a gentle and sweet big brother, I love  watching his interactions with her.

Our newest addition, Jack Peyton, arrived on November 22, 2011. We are loving being new parents to this little guy. Even at 4 o’clock in the morning.

More on that later. But the big news for Emily Ann Photography is that I am finally open again for business. I have already starting booking weddings for 2012 and starting to book shoots for February and March. The baby has actually (ironically) brought me more flexibility to my schedule so I am lucky to be available for weekdays and weekends for shoots. I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life as a mom and see how it enhances my abilities as a photographer.

Little Olivia is ten weeks old and the sweetest ball of smiles and laughs. Her mom Amy, dad Bryce and big (furry) brother Barney are so happy to welcome her to their lives.
